HOW TO DO YOUR FIRST PULL-UP OR INCREASE THE NUMBER OF REPS:
Let's go with one of my favorite exercises, the pull-ups. How do I get my first pull-up if I can't do any reps? Well, one of the first things would be to lower the fat percentage if it is high, since it weighs us down and hinders our goal.
🔱EFFECTIVE EXERCISES:
✅ Hang from the bar, if you are not able to ask for help, once in suspension try to hold on as long as you can. It is about varying the route, that is, holding with your arms completely stretched out, then holding in the middle area (with your forehead at the height of the bar, for example) and finally, holding with your chin above the bar. We always have to hold as long as we can, this is called isometric work. Don't get frustrated if you last very little, at first it's totally normal.
✅ Help yourself with an elastic band to progress little by little.
✅ Make pulls and work with the assisted pull-up machine (put less weight on it so you have to make more effort when climbing)
🔱 HOW DO I INCREASE THE REPETITIONS IF I ALREADY DO A CONSIDERABLE NUMBER OR I AM
STAGNANT?
✅ Put ballast adding weight little by little.
✅ Work the eccentric and isometric phase.
✅ Varies the width and type of grip: supine, neutral, prone.
There are many ways to get better at pull-ups. If you are opposing and need to improve the marks, apply these tips.
